With Fiber-Klenz Plus, the name says
it all!
Fiber from 8 different plant
sources.
Klenz (cleansing) from the
Bentonite Clay, Inulin and Apple Pectin.
Plus Ellagitannins, Ellagic
Acid, OPC, Resveratrol and other nutrient
cofactors from the plant sourced fiber.
There is NO other product available that
combines all of these ingredients in one
bottle.
The Meeker Red Raspberry - Fiber,
Ellagitannins and Ellagic Acid
Ellagic acid is a member of the ellagitannin
family of compounds found in red
raspberries. Ellagic acid, a phenolic
compound, is a proven anti-carcinogen,
anti-mutagen and anti-cancer initiator - and
therefore may be one of the most potent ways
to fight cancer.
The raspberry component accounts for a
little over 25% of the total content of the
Fiber-Klenz Plus. This gives you
approximately 5 g of raspberry per daily
dose or 150 g per bottle. There are many
products currently available that contain
JUST the Meeker Raspberry seed selling for
around $30-40 per bottle and they only
contain 60 g of the seed.
This makes the Fiber-Klenz Plus a
phenomenal value on just the Meeker
Raspberry seed alone.
The Muscadine Grape - Fiber, Resveratrol and
OPC
Antioxidants have emerged as healthful
compounds that reduce inflammation, provide
protective benefits that inhibit the
development of health disease, inhibit
cancerous growth and delay the development
of neurodegenerative diseases.
The phenolic compound Resveratrol is the
antioxidant that has captured a lot of
scientific attention lately. Highly
publicized research showed that Resveratrol
may be a useful chemopreventative and
chemotherapeutic agent for cancer. Many
other documented studies concluded that this
phenolic compound reduced LDL cholesterol,
inhibiting the development of heart disease.
Recent studies have found muscadine grapes
and their resulting products to contain more
Resveratrol and other antioxidants than any
other types of grapes.
The Cranberry - Fiber and Other Nutritional
Cofactors
Cranberry fiber also contains tannins,
condensed proanthocyanidins, unique to
cranberries, possessing and Anti-Adherence
Factor that inhibits the adhesion of
undesirable bacteria to the urinary tract.
The Blueberries - Fiber and Other
Nutritional Cofactors
Researchers at the USDA Human Nutrition
Center (HNRCA) have found that blueberries
rank #1 in antioxidant activity when
compared to 40 other fresh fruits and
vegetables. Antioxidants help neutralize
harmful by-products of metabolism called
"free radicals" that can lead to cancer and
other age related diseases. Anthocyanin, the
pigment that makes blueberries blue, is
thought to be responsible for this major
health benefit.
Blueberries may reduce the build-up of so
called "bad" cholesterol that contributes to
cardiovascular disease and stroke, according
to scientists at the University of
California at Davis.
The Inulin - Fiber and Other Nutritional
Cofactors
Inulin is a major constituent of some of the
most famous "stand-by" herbs, such as
burdock root, dandelion root, elecampane
root, chicory root, and the Chinese herb
codonopsis. Botanically, inulin is a storage
food in the plants of the composite family.
Inulin is recommended sometimes for
diabetics; it has a mildly sweet taste, and
is filling like starchy foods, but because
it is not absorbed, it does not affect blood
sugar levels. Despite the similarity of its
name to insulin, inulin has no connection
with that hormone either chemically or
through physiological activity. Recent
research has shown an important
physiological action for inulin. Like some
pectins and fructooligosaccharides, inulin
is a preferred food for the lactobacilli in
the intestine and can improve the balance of
friendly bacteria in the bowel.
The Oat Bran - Fiber
Oat bran is a rich source of nonirritating
soluble dietary fiber. Oat bran has also
received considerable attention in the
medical community for its role in helping
reduce blood cholesterol.
The Psyllium Husks - Fiber
Psyllium is a lubricating fiber herb with
drawing, cleansing and laxative properties.
Psyllium acts as a "colon broom" for chronic
constipation, is effective for inflammatory
diverticulitis, and is a lubricant for
ulcerous intestinal tract tissue.
The Apple Pectin - Fiber
Apple pectin is a source of water soluble
fiber which has a gel-forming effect when
mixed with water. As a dietary fiber, apple
pectin is helpful in maintaining good
digestive health.
Apple pectin, in the diets of human and lab
animals, has been shown to increase the
excretion of lipids, cholesterol and bile
acids, and reduce serum cholesterol levels.
Pectins operate by binding with bile acids,
thereby decreasing cholesterol and fat
absorption. Apple pectin has also been shown
to help eliminate heavy metals from the
body.
The Bentonite Clay - A Volcanic
Detoxifier
Bentonite clay, a medicinal powdered clay,
also known as montmorillonite, is derived
from deposits of weathered volcanic ash. It
is one of the most effective natural
intestinal detoxifying agents available and
has been recognized as such for centuries by
native peoples around the world. Whatever
the name, bentonite clay contains minerals
that, once inside the gastrointestinal
tract, are able to absorb toxins and deliver
mineral nutrients to an impressive degree.
Bentonite clay is inert, which means it
passes through the body undigested.
Technically, the clay first absorbs toxins
(heavy metals, free radicals, and
pesticides), attracting them to its
extensive surface area where they adhere
like flies to sticky paper; then it absorbs
the toxins.
Once hydrated, bentonite has an enormous
surface area. When bentonite clay absorbs
water and swells, it is stretched open like
a highly porous sponge; the toxins are drawn
into these spaces by electrical attraction
and bound fast. In fact, according to the
Canadian Journal of Microbiology (31[1985],
50-53), bentonite can absorb pathogenic
viruses, aflatoxin (a mold), and pesticides
and herbicides, including Paraquat and
Roundup.
The clay is eventually eliminated from the
body, taking with it the toxins bound to its
multiple surfaces.
